In this one year alone, BCLC distributed $1,010.4 million to the government of B.C. for programs that enrich lives in communities throughout the province, with $620.7 directed to consolidated revenue for public service programs, including health care and education.

Support of Municipal Government Programs
Host local governments where our casinos and community gaming centres are located received $76.1 million. Governments may use these funds in any way to benefit their communities.
Support of Community Programs
BCLC net income provided $142.4 million to 6,000 community and charitable organizations through government's community gaming grants, managed by the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch. Organizations use this money to help them deliver programs and services that enrich our communities, such as volunteer fire departments, sport clubs, music societies, search and rescue, groups that support people with chronic diseases, seniors' groups and many more.

Support of Retail Partners
Private sector lottery retailers and bingo and casino service provider companies were paid $528.4 million to bring the games to the players. Some 10,000 people are directly employed in the gaming industry.
