Tazeem Nathoo
West Vancouver

Tazeem Nathoo is an Executive Coach & Consultant.  Currently, she works in association with Western Management Consultants.  Prior to launching her consulting career, Ms. Nathoo was a Senior Executive at Vancity Credit Union for ten years. In her capacity as Senior Vice President Operations, she was directly accountable for leading and managing the company’s revenue generating divisions.  Ms. Nathoo also led the Human Resources & Corporate Social Responsibility functions and played a pivotal role in positioning Vancity strategically as a leader in both these areas. She also held senior level positions at BC Hydro where she was one of the first women managers and was instrumental in introducing ground breaking programs and policies including an innovative and integrated HR strategy and Employment Equity program.

Ms. Nathoo has a BA (Hons) from the University of Leicester, UK. She has a Coaching certificate from the Institute of Santa Barbara, California and she is also a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors after completing their program in 2006. Ms. Nathoo has attended Executive Leadership Development programs at Queens University and the Centre for Creative Leadership.

Ms. Nathoo received a Woman of Distinction award from the YWCA for her leadership in the professional and management category.  She has been active in the community and was on the Board of Simon Fraser University for six years where she was also Chair of the Board and the Employee Relations Committee.  Ms. Nathoo was the Vice Chair of Aga Khan Foundation Canada for several years; she was also on the Boards of Canadian Unity Council, the 2010 Bid Corporation, US Business for Social Responsibility and other community boards such as Family Services of the North Shore.
