Kathy Stevenson is the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Interior Savings Credit Union in Kelowna, BC, having held that position since February 2002. Prior to that, Ms. Stevenson was Vice President Finance with VanCity Savings Credit Union, where she held several positions over a 12 year period.

After graduating from Simon Fraser University, she worked for several Chartered Accounting Firms over the period 1981 to 1989, both in Canada and New Zealand. She received her C.A. designation in 1984 and was awarded a fellowship designation by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of BC in 2004.

Ms. Stevenson is currently a member of Financial Executives International Canada and sits on both the Vancouver Chapter and National boards. She is the National vice-chairperson and is in line to take on the chairperson role in June 2006.

She has previously held positions on the Audit Hearing Panel of the Medical Services Commission and on the board of directors for Citizens Bank of Canada.
