Here is some useful information that will make registering for PlayNow faster and easier. Read on so you’ll know what to expect.
BCLC has invested in significant safeguards, authentication processes and security measures to ensure the integrity of our games. An individual must register and create a player account before game play is enabled.
Our registration process is designed to verify your identity, ensure that you are over 19 years of age and that you are a current resident of B.C. All PlayNow players must conform to these requirements.
What to expect when you register for PlayNow
Before you register, grab your valid Visa or MasterCard credit card.
NOTE: there are no charges to register for PlayNow. Your credit card information is sent electronically to one of Canada's major credit agencies in order to verify your identity, that you are over 19 years of age and that you are a B.C. resident--this is not a credit check.
Step 1: Enter your personal information such as your name, address, etc.
Step 2: Enter your credit card information.
Step 3: Read and accept the PlayNow Player Agreement and Code of Conduct.
Step 4: Choose your PlayNow username, password and security question.
Step 5: Review and confirm your information.
Once your personal information has been verified, you will see the PlayNow Welcome screen. Congratulations, you have successfully registered for PlayNow!
If your registration is not successful, some of your personal information may need further verification. Please contact Consumer Services toll-free in B.C. at 1-866-815-0222.
Load your Wallet
Once you have successfully registered, you will need to load your PlayNow Wallet with PlayerCash before you can make a purchase. There are three ways to load your Wallet:
Once you have successfully loaded your Wallet, you can immediately start playing PlayNow games!
As an additional safeguard, you will be asked to confirm that you are over 19 years of age each time you log in to PlayNow.
