About Poker Lotto

Poker Lotto is a thrilling new BC only lottery game that features two ways to win: an instant win poker game and a nightly lottery draw. You have the chance to win up to $5,000 instantly with a winning poker hand and another chance to win up to $100,000 on the Nightly Lottery Draw!

Poker Lotto tickets are purchased at any lottery retailer. Just let the retailer know how many $2 quick pick poker hands you want to play (up to a maximum of three hands per ticket), pay the retailer for the ticket, and watch the instant win game play on the display monitor facing you. Each $2 play is eligible for one instant game at the time of purchase and for that night’s draw.

How to Win

Instant Wins

You can win instantly at the time of purchase if a hand on your ticket forms a winning Poker Hand as set out in the Instant Win Prize Structure table below.

NOTE:

  1. An ace can be used in both a low straight (A,2,3,4,5) and a high straight (10,J,Q,K,A).
  2. In a Royal Flush, Straight Flush, or Flush, the suit of each card in a Hand must be of the same suit, whether all hearts, all spades, all diamonds, or all clubs, to be a winning Hand. The suits of the cards in the other Poker Hands are not relevant for the purposes of winning an Instant Play prize.

What is 'Pay Before You Play'?

Pay before you play logoPoker Lotto tickets must be fully paid for before the retailer will print and give the ticket to you. Retailers are not able to cancel a Poker Lotto ticket once it has been printed.

Redeeming Your Poker Lotto Ticket

Players with tickets that have won instant prizes have the option of redeeming their instant prize immediately, depending on the amount of the prize, or waiting until after the nightly draw. Please see the link to our prize claims page below for more information on how and where to claim your prize.

If an instant prize is redeemed prior to the nightly Lottery Draw, the retailer will provide the player with an Exchange Ticket that is valid for the Nightly Lottery Draw. The original wager ticket is now void. The Exchange Ticket indicates that the instant prize has already been paid. If an instant prize is redeemed after the draw has been held, the Instant Win and Nightly Lottery Draw prizes that have been won will be automatically combined and paid to the player.

Please see our prize claims page for more information on where to claim your prize.
