BCLC is an open and transparent Crown corporation and makes many records publicly available.

If you have a question about BCLC, you can make a request for information under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. You'll need to make a request under the Act only if the information you're looking for isn't routinely available.

What you need to do

Step 1: Check bclc.com
Check bclc.com first for the answer to your question. You may find your answer in:

Step 2: Call us
If you've checked bclc.com and can't find the information you need, call us toll-free in BC at 1-866-815-0222.

Step 3: Submit a request
If the information you need isn't available anywhere else, complete a Freedom of Information (FOI) request. Be sure to provide complete details to help identify the record you are looking for. Please request only the records you need. Here's how:

Online
Fill out and submit the Online Information Request Form.

Mail or Fax
Complete the Information Request Form [337 KB].

Send the completed form by mail or fax to the Information and Privacy Administrator:

Fees

Access to information may be subject to a fee. The first three hours spent retrieving a record are free and charges will apply for any additional time. You'll be given a fee estimate before this work begins.

Receiving the Information You Requested

In most cases you'll receive the record you requested. However, you may receive records that have text removed. Reasons for this will be provided to you.
