Debbie Toole is responsible for providing strategic leadership in the development and implementation of human resource programs. She has operational responsibility for staff who provide services and support to all business and support units, our customers and business partners.

Debbie joined BCLC on September 24, 2007 as Vice-President Human Resources. Her background includes a broad range of executive human resource experience in the crown sector, and in the energy, software and telecommunications industries. As well, Debbie held both Human Resources and Marketing positions with the 1988 Olympic Organizing Committee in Calgary.

Debbie is a graduate of the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Arts degree and has participated in an executive non-degree program at the University of Michigan.
